After carrying for 12-1/2 months (her longest pregnancy to date), our can't-do-without-her Polkadot easily delivered a little, dark brown Cocoa son on 8-3-06. 

Poco is a delight!  He's a bit independent for a miniature donkey, like his "momma".  And he's so very handsome!!

Poco is definitely future herd sire quality.  He's straight and correct with a lovely head and the desirable chocolate brown coat .  And he'd make a great companion animal, too.  Both of M&MS Farms' breeding jacks do it all.  They live with their ladies and their children.  They give wonderful donkey hugs.  They protect their herd from coyotes.  And they sire the next generation of this loving breed.

Poco should mature at about 32".
