2007 Shows

Mid-America Miniature Horse Club Info

Hello.   I am Michael Collins and I am vice president of the MAMHC. We are getting sponsors for the classes for the three Mid America Miniature Horse Club shows.

They are:  Julep Cup, Silver Jubilee, and the Jambalaya.

The Jambalaya is a show we started last year at the Hoosier Horse Park and it did very well.

We have 6 regular classes available.  You can sponsor five classes for $50.00.  That will be for ALL THREE SHOWS which is a great deal. That means your farm name is announced in the same five classes at all three shows which totals FIFTEEN times for $50.00!

The Grand Champions are $50.00 which covers all three shows for a total of three times your name is announced. The Reserve Champions are $40.00 per class for all three shows.

 You can purchase any combination of three or more Grand or Reserves and get a $10.00 discount off of each one. For example, Three Grands would be $120.00 instead of $150.00.  Three Reserve Champions would be be $90.00 instead of $120.00.  You could mix 2 Reserves and one Grand for a total of $100.00  etc. etc.  

Your farm name will also go on our showbill.  If interested please email me with your choices shortly before they picked over and we will send you an invoice within the next ten days confirming your choices and it will include an pre addressed envelope for payment. Hope to see you this year. Here is what we have available.

The North East Wisconsin Miniature Horse Club will be holding two great AMHR sanctioned miniature horse shows again this year. The Shawano Wisconsin County Fairgrounds is a jewel of a location.  There are ringside stalls and airy clean stall barns close by. Camping under shade trees is available as well. There is a snack bar in the arena barn and reasonably priced fast food and traditional restaurants nearby. A Super 8 is located within one block of the arena.

The first show will be held Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day weekend with three judges.

The second show will be on August 18 & 19th, 2007 with two
judges. There are always excellent quality entries and great competition.

If you haven't had a chance to show with NEWMHC you are missing a great time!

The Central States Pony Association will host their ASPC/AMHR/ASPR sanctioned 2007 club show June 15 & 16, 2007 at Gordyville USA, Gifford, IL. They continue their family oriented show with another fun holiday theme. This year they have chosen Halloween. As always there will be sanctioned halter and performance classes for Moderns. Classics, Miniatures, and Show Ponies as well as open classes for Hackneys and Grade Ponies. The show would not be complete without the ever popular Aisle Party, fun and games for children of all ages, special costume classes and the Stall Decorating Contest.

Gordyville is located just off I57, 6 miles east of Rantoul, IL on Illinois Route 136. All of the roomy box stalls are located under one roof in the arena barn. Facilities include two heated washracks, showers, and camping. There is a snack bar and restaurant on the grounds. Many reasonably priced motels and restaurants are available in nearby Rantoul.
